What you'll find on the Profile page in Margly, how to change the main currency, and how Margly handles the timezone.

Where to find Profile#

Profile is a standalone page — not a subsection of Integrations. Open it from the left sidebar by clicking the user icon ("Profile") at the bottom next to the language switcher and Logout button.

What is on the Profile page#

The profile is intentionally brief. It contains four cards and nothing else:

1. Account information#

Read-only, for your reference — it can't be edited from here:

  • Email — your login address. If you need to change it, write to info@margly.io — we'll do it manually.
  • Company name — what you have filled in Billing details. The change is made there, not here.
  • Role — Badge shows "Owner" or "Editor". When a guest from a partner company is moving in your account (via Sharing access between accounts), they see their own account in Profile (their home one), not yours — the guest just switches into your account. Detail in Roles and permissions.

2. Request help with setup#

Next to account information is the "Request help with setup" form — you fill in phone number (required) and a short message (optional, up to 2 000 characters) and the Margly team contacts you.

3. Timezone#

Margly in the dashboard works with a single timezone for the whole account — for owner, editor, and guest from a partner company alike. Reason: margins, ROAS, daily aggregates, monthly limits (Advisor, PDF import), and boundary days for orders must be identical across the team, otherwise each of you would see different numbers for "yesterday".

You see the zone in Profile as a name in IANA format (e.g., Europe/Prague, America/New_York, Asia/Tokyo, Australia/Sydney, Africa/Johannesburg).

The zone isn't edited directly in Profile — Margly derives it from your account's billing country using a map of 130+ countries covering Europe, North and South America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania. If you need a different zone, change the billing country in the Billing → Billing details section — Margly automatically flips the zone (CZ → Europe/Prague, US → America/New_York, AU → Australia/Sydney, JP → Asia/Tokyo …).

Even if a colleague is currently traveling in a different zone, they see the numbers in the dashboard the same as you — Margly always follows the account's zone, not the browser's local time.

4. Display currency#

Which currency Margly should use for all financial numbers in the dashboard (revenue, margins, spend, KPIs). From this same currency Margly also derives the billing currency from Stripe: CZK → billing in CZK, any other currency → billing in EUR.

Rules for change:

  • Only the Owner of the account can change it. Editor only sees the text "Only the account owner can change the currency." Guest from a partner company doesn't get to Profile (they see their own).
  • The currency is "locked" once the account contains financial data — Margly locks the dropdown if the account has at least one order, uploaded monthly costs item, or product. At that moment the UI shows the message "The currency can't be changed because the account already contains data. If you need a different currency, contact support." → write to info@margly.io, we'll evaluate manually. Reason for the lock: currency change in a running account requires consistent recalculation of all historical data via a series of rates, which is a process we want to do in a controlled way.
  • As long as no data is uploaded (typically in trial after registration, until the first data load from the e-shop completes), you can freely switch the currency in the dropdown. Options: CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, PLN, HUF, RON, BGN, SEK, NOK, DKK, CHF, ISK, TRY, HRK.
  • After an allowed change, Margly recalculates uploaded data (products, cost items, customer aggregates) via the current exchange rate — this happens automatically in the background and in the UI you'll see a short message "Saving currency…".

What is NOT in Profile#

So you don't get confused — these things live elsewhere:

What you are looking forWhere it is
Margly language (Czech / Slovak / English / German)Sidebar — language flag next to the Profile icon; or the "Language and region" card in the Integrations section. Language is shared for the whole account, not per-user — it manifests in email notifications (daily overview) too.
NotificationsThe Integrations section → "Email notifications" card — currently a single toggle "Morning overview" (daily email with 5 key numbers for the previous day + revenue forecast). In-app notifications can't be turned off.
Plan, invoices, payment cardThe Billing section.
Billing details (company name, company ID, tax ID, address, country)Billing → Billing details.
VAT (payer status, displaying incl./excl. VAT, per-product rates)VAT settings.
Invitations to colleagues, account sharingTeam (the card is visible only to the account owner).
E-shop / ads integrationThe Integrations section → card of the given platform.

Account deletion (GDPR)#

Margly doesn't have a "Delete account" button directly in the app. Deletion is handled manually for identity-control reasons:

  1. Send an email to app@mirandamedia.cz

From the email address assigned to your Margly account (so we can confirm it's really you). Subject: "Account deletion request".

  2. Within 2 business days we confirm receipt of the request

If something is unclear, we'll ask you by email before starting deletion.

  3. Within 30 days we delete all data

Irreversibly removed: account details, e-shop data (orders, customers, products, margins), ad data, GA4 and Search Console analytics, uploaded costs, Advisor analyses and tasks, notifications, OAuth tokens, and integrations.

Some data we may not delete even on your request — we keep it separately and don't use it for Margly's operation:

  • Accounting and tax documents (invoices from Margly, Stripe payment documents) — kept for the period set by Czech accounting law and VAT law (up to 10 years).
  • Logs of security events (authorization, security incidents) — to demonstrate compliance with operator obligations.
  • Anonymized aggregated metrics about app usage — without a link to your identity.

Backup systems#

After deletion, data may persist briefly in backup systems (typically up to 30 days from deletion), until they undergo automatic rotation. After rotation they are physically inaccessible even from backups.

Automatic deletion after subscription expiration#

If your subscription expires and you don't activate a new plan within 30 days, Margly will delete data automatically. During this 30-day window you'll receive email reminders on days 0, 3, 7, 14, 21, and 27. After it passes, no deletion notice will be sent — removal happens silently.

Disconnecting a single specific integration#

If you don't want to delete the entire account, but only remove data from a specific connected service (Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta Ads, Sklik, Heureka, Shoptet, Shopify, Upgates):

  1. In the Integrations section find the card of the given platform.
  2. Click "Disconnect".
  3. Margly immediately revokes the access token and deletes all data from that service. Other data in the account remain untouched.

Detail of the complete workflow is in the legal text Data deletion.
