What Freelo is for in Margly#
You connect Freelo so you can save a task from My Tasks straight into Freelo — into the project and to-do list you choose, with the assignee you choose. Margly doesn't download or evaluate anything from Freelo; it only creates tasks there.
The connection is available on plans with My Tasks (Starter, Professional, Business and the trial). My Tasks aren't part of the Free plan.
How to connect#
Copy the API key in Freelo
You'll find the API key in Freelo in your account settings.
Open a task in Margly
In AI Advisor → My Tasks, expand a task and click Save to Freelo in the Hand off task block.
Enter the account email and API key
Margly verifies the key with Freelo and stores it encrypted. Freelo can be connected by the account owner or an editor.
Tasks in Freelo are created under the account whose key you entered. You can only pick assignees who have access to the chosen list.
What is sent to Freelo#
- The task title and description (with a link back to the task in Margly)
- Next steps from the AI evaluation as subtasks, if the task has them
Team notes, the product list and customer data are not sent.
Disconnecting#
In the Save to Freelo window, click Disconnect. Margly deletes the key; tasks already in Freelo stay there.
